Try This Simple Watermelon Inspired Makeup Look
This is a makeup look I did for a trip to Disneyland which unintentionally resembled watermelon colors. I was running a bit low on time getting ready so went for a one and done eyeshadow look using Royal Pear from Clionadh. Clionadh multichrome single eyeshadows are a good choice for creating simple eye looks or as a beginner friendly makeup technique. Multichrome eyeshadows already have multiple shifts of different shades in its formula so you don’t have to worry about creating depth or picking out matching colors.
Clionadh Royal Pear Neutral Green Multichrome Hooded Eye Makeup Tutorial
Because Royal Pear has a muted green base with pink and peach shifts, I naturally gravitated to a cool toned magenta blush. This 3CE Take A Layer Multi Pot in Plumeria is a cream blush with deep pigment but can be sheered out to a rosy pink. Unfortunately this collection of cream blushes is already discontinued. I think this is a good example of how Asian beauty is leading the current global beauty trends. Korean brands were already releasing cream and liquid blushes back in 2019 while we didn’t see this in western brands until around 2021. I chose my tried and true rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint in Fig Fig as it had similar tones of the cool magenta shade for my lip tint. These lip tints are keep my lips moisturized while leaving a nice tint, perfect for if you are eating throughout the day. They are also available on Amazon, link below. *I earn a commission for purchases made from the link below*
I also brought along my Merit Gelee Sheer Tinted Lip Oil in Mapleton for in between all the random eating at Disneyland. I have a review of the Merit lip oils and why they are the best lip oils I’m using currently. I purchased my Le Labo Neroli 36 perfume on my trip to Hawaii in March and now my goal is to buy all the city limited perfumes. Neroli 36 is a warm floral that’s not a super sweet scent and can be considered a unisex fragrance.
From the close ups of my eye makeup, you can see the shift of Royal Pear that I applied all over the eyelid. It appears like a cool purple but in the sun it will shine more pink and peach. Royal Pear is part of the Earth Vibrant formulas under the Stained Glass collection. The Earth Vibrant multichromes are eyeshadow singles meant to have a more neutral “wearable” color shades for everyday makeup styles.
Makeup Swatches
When swatched out, you can really see the watermelon vibes this makeup is giving. Even though the 3CE blush is no longer available, I’m sure there are similar shades you can find from other brands. I might even have some dupes in my own collection. Let me know if you have any blushes you would like me to swatch for comparison. The second photo is filtered to enhance the color of the swatches and to bring out the glitter shifts.
