Pink Glitter Fairy Makeup Tutorial With Flower Knows Ocean Siren
Here is cute and glittery eye look that uses the Ocean Siren palette from Flower Knows. This fairy like makeup is very glitter forward with a touch of pink, and it wouldn’t look out of place even as an everyday makeup style. As usual, this tutorial is simple to recreate, and you can use any colors from any palettes you already have.
Pink Glitter Fairy Hooded Eye Makeup Tutorial
Starting with the light pink shade in the Ocean Siren palette, lightly brush this shade on the inner eyelid.
Apply the darker pink matte shade on the outer eyelid, sweeping it into a wing shape. I blend out the edges for a more blown out watercolor effect.
Create a smaller wing using the dark brown matte shade on the outer eye. This is more for definition and contour of my hooded eye shape. Eyeshadow looks can end up looking flat on your face without some sort of darkening of the outer eye area. (Also the reason why you contour your face shape).
Apply glitter primer (if you are adding glitter to your eye look). Glitter primer will help adhere the small glitter texture to your eyelids and prevent fall out through the day.
Using a finger, apply the beige glitter shade all over the lid. If you do not like having a shimmer lid, you can skip this step. I find that as I am getting into my late 30s, my eyelids are drooping more and matte shades just emphasize that texture. I also just like to have some extra pop interest in my eye looks and glitter can add to that style of makeup.
I felt like I needed another glitter shade with more colors of glitter, so I used the pink glitter shade in my rom&nd Light & Glitter Garden palette. I added this all over the eyelid again, using my finger to apply.
Add any eyeliner in any style you prefer. I don’t do thick cat eye eyeliner as it covers up my whole lid with the way my hooded eye is shaped. For everyday makeup styles, I do the dog eye style, just adding a thin eyeliner to the end of my eyelid in a downward shape. This creates the impression of bigger eyes rather than a smaller, cat eye shape.
Pink Glitter Fairy Makeup Swatches
For the rest of the makeup look, I used a Muzigae Mansion Fitting Blush in shade Ecstasy. It is a very light baby pink color which I thought would fit the theme of a pink fairy makeup. With the rest of the makeup on the lighter side, I used rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint in Bare Fig which is a mid tone pink with purple undertones. I tried out my new Ralph Lauren Romance perfume that I got during my June makeup haul. It is a classic feminine floral scent with hints of fruit and musk.
