Achieve The Trendy Baby Pink Shade With This Cream Blush
Dior Baby Pink Blush Dupe
Today I’m featuring a cream blush that is reminiscent of that popular baby pink blush from Dior. While not exactly a dupe, as the Dior blush is a powder blush, you can still get that baby pink color from the cream blush from Jouer. The color Peony, from the Jouer Cosmetics Mini Blush & Bloom Cheek and Lip Tint Set, looks a lot more pigmented. However swatched out, It actually lightens to that familiar baby pink color. I actually got this set when it was available during the Sephora spring sale but it seems like it was just taken off the site. It is still available for purchase on the Jouer website at the time of this post. These are meant to be used for both lips and cheek, but for my dry lips it probably won’t work very well.

For the eye look I decided to shop my stash for a palette I haven’t used in quite some time. I opted for a muted pink look while checking out the LA County Fair in Pomona. And yes, you will come home smelling like smoked BBQ. The rom&nd Dry Rose quad palette is one of the first eyeshadow palettes they released. Their current palettes have gotten larger expanding into 10 shades for each palette, but the older palettes work just as well. And quad palettes have the perk of being travel friendly. I used all four shades in the palette for this eye look, and that glitter shade all over the lid is pretty cute.
4 pan quad palettes are basically made for simple makeup looks and are beginner friendly. For this natural pink toned eye look, I used the lightest shade on in the inner eye, the darker pink smoked out on the outer eye, the darker brown as an eyeliner wing, and the glitter shade all over the lid.

From the swatches here you can really see how that bright pink from the Jouer Blush & Bloom Tint sheers out into that pretty cool toned baby pink shade. The Maraschino Gelee Sheer Tinted Lip Oil from Merit is similar in that it also sheers into a pink rather than the vivid hot red it looks like in the tube. As you can see, I’m still frequently using it most of my recent makeup looks. I also tried out the new Skylar perfume that was released for the month of May for their subscription box. Tropical Harvest is a warm and fruity forward scent with notes of mandarin, pineapple, and orange flower. I am also wearing Moody Lenses colored contact lenses.
