Oct 1 Makeup and Skincare Haul September 2023

Welcome to my monthly makeup and skincare haul series. Every month I will be journaling what products I bought in the past month, including makeup, skincare, and bath or body products. Makeup and Skincare Haul September 2023

This month I tried to control myself better on the purchasing, really only bought new releases or brands that were having sales for Labor Day. The Lancome X Louvre palette was very popular, I think most makeup users are interested in the quality and performance of the eyeshadows as the palette packaging was so beautiful and unique. The Swan Ballet collection for Flower Knows was also highly anticipated, and I was not disappointed by its Swan Like inspired aesthetic. Check out all the makeup and skincare purchases this month from Ulta Beauty, Lancome, Viseart, Korean brands from Olive Young and Etude, Colourpop, Flower Knows, and indie brands Unearthly Cosmetics, Cliondah, and Gourmande Girls. I was also able to buy the limited Ffern fragrance Autumn 23.

I really like the previous Jungle Lights and Desert Lights eyeshadow palettes from Flower Beauty, so I had to pick up the 2 new palettes in the same formula. Garden Lights swatches and Coastal Lights swatches can be found in their respective posts. I also picked up the Milani Fruit Fetish Lip Oils, with a bonus Milani baked blush as a free item with purchase.

I was curious about the Lancome X Louvre palette as soon as I saw it on Instagram. Not only is the packaging luxurious, the eyeshadow formula is fantastic. I added Lancome Idole to my purchase for the free shipping, but it also came with a travel size fragrance I could give as a gift.

Viseart had a Labor Day sale, so I decided to pick up some eyeshadow palettes that I’ve been interested in for a while. I’m a shimmer eye girl, so I chose the palettes that had mainly shimmers, or shimmer focused. My haul included the Petits quads from the 2021 Christmas collection, Petites Shimmers, and Coyish Etendu.

My skincare and makeup haul from Olive Young included the new Alternative stereo Aqua Glow Lip Potions, Glint by VDIVOV Baked Blush, lip pencils from rom&nd and Clio for my mom, HANYUL Pure Artemisia Watery Calming Sun Cream. The Innisfree Retinol Cica Repair Ampoule was free with purchase.

An Olive Young September 2023 was also included with my purchase. The cuteness of the Etude X Bearkku collection was irresistible. I got the Bearkku Ginger Sugar Melting Balm and the Etude Bearkku X Play Color Eyes Play It Bearkku. It came with an adorable Bearkku keychain.

Etude was also offering a Soon Jung skincare collection bundle which I picked up mostly to get the free shipping with my Bearkku makeup items. I have been using the Soon Jung Moisture Sun Cream and I like the light-weight formula.

Flower Knows Makup Haul September 2023

Everything I got from the Flower Knows Swan Ballet collection, including all 3 eyeshadow palettes, 4 of the Shine Lipsticks, and a blush.

Ffern Autmn 23 Haul

My Ffern Autumn 23 review, the limited edition perfume sold exclusively to customers on their ledger. A fragrance made for the fall season with base notes of figs, spices, and hay.

Unearthly Cosmetics Makeup Haul September 2023

This year I decided to try out the mystery boxes from Unearthly Cosmetics. They don’t seem to release as many new releases that are outside of their mystery boxes sold each season. I won’t use the liquid lipsticks or lip glosses as much, but I wanted the highlighters and eyeshadow palettes in my collection. I did pre-order the Halloween mystery box, so I’m hoping that ships in time for Halloween.

A mini eyeshadow haul from Clionadh, just picking up some new metallic shimmers and Ferric from the dimensional multichrome line. The metallic single eyeshadows are Chamomile, Sunlit Meadows, and Wild Thistle.
