Easy Everyday Mini Dark Pink Winged Eyeliner Makeup Look
I'm finally getting around to trying out some new makeup I purchased at least a month ago. This time I'm using the Judydoll Pink Lake Paradise eyeshadow palette from my first Chic Decent haul. The mattes in the Judydoll palettes are buttery smooth and the glitter shades give that extra sparkle on the eyes. You can check out my Judydoll Pink Lake Paradise swatch post to see all the shades. I decided to use the shade Red Cliff as the focal point of my makeup look today. It blends out into a dark pink color, which I used to create the winged eyeliner. Using a different color for your eyeliner than the usual black or brown makes your makeup look more interesting. It's an easy way to add color to your eye look while still keeping it in an everyday makeup style. Below are the steps in creating a dark pink winged eyeliner makeup look.
Easy Everyday Mini Dark Pink Winged Eyeliner Tutorial
From the Pink Lake Paradise palette, apply Sand on the outer eyelid. Use a fluffy eye brush to blend out the light-brown shadow and create a smoky eye. If you have hooded eyes, blend slightly above your natural eye crease.
Blend Beach from the inner corner of the eye until where Sand was applied. Blend these two shades for a smooth transition.
Using a small eyeliner brush, line the upper lash line with the shade Red Cliff. It is a cool toned terracotta that leans red. When you start smudging the shadow out to create a wing, it becomes a dark pink hue. I used a powder eyeshadow to make the eyeliner, but you can use a pink pencil or liquid eyeliner if you prefer. I usually only line my outer corner of the eyes with eyeliner because of my hooded eyes. The pink will create a nice pop of color to your overall makeup. Draw a thicker wing for a more dramatic and bold eye look.
Tap the shade Salt over the whole eyelid with a fingertip. Salt has bits of pink and blue glitter, which contrasts nicely with the dark pink liner. Lightly tap to bring out the glitter particles. Adding too much will result in a shimmer texture instead of the sparkle of glitter. This step is optional if you like the all matte style instead.
Apply mascara to the upper and lower lashes. Add fake lashes if that's your preference. That completes this effortless but fun pink eyeliner look.
Complementary Makeup For Pink Eyeliner
Blush: Canmake Glow Fleur Cheek Rose Ballerina. A pink and lavender shimmer blush from the Japanese brand Canmake. The eye makeup is fairly toned down, so I decided to go for a bright glowy color on the cheeks.
Lip: Alternative stereo Lip Potion Aqua Glow Raspberry Soap. A muted pink raspberry lip gloss. Very hydrating and comfortable on the lips. Alternative stereo Lip Potion Aqua Glow swatches can be found in this post.
Perfume: Skylar Vineyard Stroll. The fragrance of lemon and grapes with the warm undertones of tonka bean.
