Neutral Everyday Makeup Tutorial for a Raspberry Pink Lip
In an effort to manifest fall weather, I've started focusing on a bolder lip for my makeup looks recently. When I use either a bright or dark lip color, I usually end up with a neutral eyeshadow look to balance out the colors. I'm also finally getting around to trying the Gogo Tales eyeshadow palette I bought from my last Chic Decent makeup haul, which I used to create this eye look. When I swatched the shadows in the palette, I just knew I had to use that first glitter shade, it's so sparkly. You can see the swatches from the Gogo Tales Powder Fog Cloud palette here. Follow along below for a step-by-step tutorial on how I created this natural, everyday eye makeup look.

Starting with the second shade in the Gogo Tales Powder Fog Cloud palette, apply the shadow with a fluffy eyeshadow brush towards the outer corner of the eyelid. The muted rose color gives the eyelid a bit of base color, focusing it into a smoky eye. For hooded eyes, bring the color up slightly above your eye crease.
Using the fourth shade in the palette, tap the purple glitter shade from the inner corner of the eyelid until around the middle using a fingertip. Apply the glitter above the eyelid crease for a blown out effect.
Apply the first shadow using the same method as before, this time from the middle eyelid towards the outer corner. You can bring the glitter out towards the temples if you are like me, and just like the extra sparkle.
Create a wing by applying the last shade from the palette. Because I have hooded eyes, I only line my lashes using a thin eyeliner brush on the outer eye. I don't bother with adding liner near the inner eye, as the eyeliner usually disappears into my hooded eye folds anyway.
Apply mascara to the upper and lower eyelashes, and add fake lashes if you prefer.
I used a cream blush for a glowy, natural look on the cheeks. Add a highlighter to your cheekbones, tip of your nose, and nose bridge.
Add any bright pink lipstick, lip gloss, or lip balm. I have very dry lips living in California, so I prefer anything that's a bit dewy and moisturizing.
