Warm Smokey Orange Eyeshadow Look: The Perfect Makeup Look for Fall Featuring Colourpop
It is peak summer here in Southern California, so I've been longingly anticipating the cool fall weather instead. This usually means my makeup starts to look like the weather I wish it was. And what better way to get excited about autumn than a Trader Joe's trip. I initially gravitated towards this bright, warm yellow, and it slowly evolved into a rustic pumpkin eyeshadow. This trendy fall makeup look channels the essence of autumn colors for a natural glam. Follow these steps to create a warm, smokey orange eyeshadow look that is guaranteed to look flattering on all eye colors.
Warm Smokey Orange Eyeshadow Look Tutorial
Apply about-face Incoming Matte Fluid Eye Paint starting from the inner corner towards about one third of the way on the eyelid. This matte, warm yellow eyeshadow exhibits a buttercup-like quality that complements fall hues.
Sweep the shade Oh Bother from the Colourpop Sweet As Can Bee palette just in the middle of the eyelid. The soft peach metallic eyeshadow will help transition into darker shades while keeping the overall makeup look neutral.
Smoke out the shade Smackaroo on the outer portion of the eyelid, blending into a wing shape. The burnt orange shade has gold glitters within the matte finish, which ties the other fall colors together.
You can add a small wing eyeliner to the outer eye using a dark brown color. Smudge the liner close to the lash line for a more dramatic smokey eye. Otherwise, apply mascara on naked eyelashes or fake lashes.
