Sparkly Barbie Pink Eyeshadow Look with Give Me Glow Cosmetics and Gogo Tales
Today I will be showing a sparkly pink eyeshadow tutorial inspired by Barbie. Although this hot pink reminds me of Barbie, you don't have to be a fan to try out this easy glitter pink makeup look. It has a refreshing spring vibe all on its own. Add on a nude lip and you have an essential Barbiecore inspired makeup look that's both fun and glam.
Sparkly Barbie Pink Eyeshadow Look with Give Me Glow Cosmetics and Gogo Tales
I started with Give Me Glow single eyeshadow Champagne as a base all over the eyelid. Champagne is a warm beige shimmer that will work as a transition into the hot pink color on the outer eye.
I applied Pink Frosting from Give Me Glow on the outer eye, smoking out the edges into a wing shape. This bright pink shimmer brings back some nostalgia as the traditional Barbie pink from when I was younger. You also don't need to blend this shade out too far if that doesn't suit your makeup style. Just adding a similar hot pink shade will evoke Barbie makeup aesthetics.
For the finishing touch, I added Gogo Tales Broken Galaxy 601 glitter eyeshadow on the lid, focusing on the middle to create a halo eye. This is a silver glitter eyeshadow in a clear base with a very similar formula to Urban Decay Moon Dust eyeshadows. For glitter eyeshadows I usually apply using my finger tips to get the best adhesion on the eyelid. Using a glitter eyelid primer will also help. A swatch of the Gogo Tales Broken Galaxy 601 glitter eyeshadow can be found in a previous post. And that's it! A very simple and easy pink glitter eyeshadow look that's cute and fresh.
Complementary Makeup For Barbie Pink Eyeshadow Look
Blush: Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Grace is the perfect shade of monochromatic rosy mauve to match this eyeshadow look.
Highlighter: Rare Beauty Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter in Enlighten. I wanted a slick cool tone to the cheeks as a topper to the pink liquid blush.
Lip: Kara Beauty Level Up! Nourishing Lip Gloss in Next Gen. Keeping the lip on the neutral side, I used this nude peach lip gloss that has silver and pink hints of glitter.
Perfume: Ellis Brooklyn Sun Fruit. Sun Fruit is a fruity floral fragrance with a fun yellow bottle. I thought it went well with the Barbie theme with its feminine notes and a nod to Italian vacations.
I hope you have fun trying out some pink glitter eyeshadow inspired by the Barbie aesthetic. Check out some other eyeshadow looks for more makeup ideas.
