Sea Blue Multichrome Eyeshadow Look with Clionadh Deep Sea Treasures
Clionadh Cosmetics Deep Sea Treasures Palette is an all multichrome eyeshadow palette inspired by the bright hints and dark hues of the deep sea. It is a great palette to create shimmery mermaid inspired eyeshadow looks, and can be a companion palette for the other mulitchrome shades in Cliondah's Stained Glass Collection. Follow along in this get ready with me as I create this simple sea blue multichrome eyeshadow look on my hooded eyes.
Sea Blue Multichrome Eyeshadow Look with Clionadh Cosmetics Deep Sea Treasures Palette
A bit unconventional, but I started by applying an eyeliner wing first. Using the shade Shipwreck, I added a small wing just on the outer eyelid. Shipwreck has a black base and appears as a dark purple multichrome shimmer, ideal for adding some contour to the outer eye. I only add eyeliner to the outer eye as I feel that lining my entire eyelid makes my eyes appear smaller. And with hooded eyes there's always that added difficulty in making the eyeliner even on both eyes, plus the eyeliner actually covering up all your eyeshadow. I save time by just applying eyeliner on the outer eye and your eyeshadow doesn't get covered.
I sweep the shade The Bends starting from the middle of the eyelid and out towards the outer eye. I blow out and blend the edges of the eyeshadow to create a more translucent glitter appearance. The Bends is a multichrome shade with a teal base and larger lilac and lime glitter shifts. By not packing on the eyeshadow, it allows the glitter to show more on the eyelids.
For the inner eyelid, I used Saltwater Pearl and applied it from the inner eye to the mid eyelid. Try to mix the two shades in the midpoint to create a more seamless gradation from one shade to the other. Saltwater Pearl is a silver pearl glitter mulitchrome with a sea foam base. I also bring this shade down into the inner eye as an inner eyelid highlight.
If you need to, add more of Shipwreck to your eyeliner wing as it might have gotten covered from applying The Bends shade. You can also add more of the eyeshadow for a thicker eyeliner or as a smokey eye.
Complementary Makeup to Enhance the Look
Blush: Fenty Double Cheek'd Up: Freestyle Cream Blush Duo in Mali'booze, I bought this last year at Sephora during the fall sale but didn't hear many beauty youtubers or influencers talk about this Fenty cream blush. The Fenty Cheek'd Up blushes went viral when they first released but I guess the hype has died down now. I still think they are great cream blushes with flattering universal shades. Mali'booze is a soft warm rose shade which I thought would work best with this bright blue eyeshadow look. The other shade, Peony Droppa, is a lovely soft peony pink. But a bit too bright for this specific makeup look.
Lip: 3CE Blur Water Tint in Laydown. The 3CE Blur Water Tints are watery when first applied but dries down to a non-smearing, smooth look with a blurry finish. They are resistant to smudging which helps as I went to eat kbbq with friends wearing this look. Laydown is a nude peach with a pink and brown base.
Perfume: Valentino Voce Viva Eau de Parfum. Voce Viva is a floral perfume with orange blossom, gardenia, and mandarin tones. It has a warmth to the scent from hints of vanilla.
