GOGO TALES Moisturizing Lip Oil #03 Light Grape Jelly Swatch and Review

Gogo Tales Moisturizing Lip Oil in shade 03 is a non sticky translucent lip oil with a light grape jelly tint. Gold flecks of glitter can be found in the light weight lip oil formula in a cute clear tube. This type of lip oil sinks into the lips over time and can be combined with other lip products for that extra hint of glitter. It has a paddle type of applicator which usually means that the lip formula is thinner and more fluid. Doe foot applicators for lip oils usually indicates that the formula is thicker, more of a lip gloss than a lip oil.

The Gogo Tales Moisturizing Lip Oil is not thick and as glossy as lip oils such as the Dior Lip Glow Oils. However, I much prefer Korean and Chinese beauty brand lip oils as they aren’t sticky. Dior Lip Glow Oils and other lip oils with similar formulas look great when first applied but can dry down in very unflattering ways, with crusty or chunky bits in the inner lips. Light weight lip oils are great for touch ups through out the day while keeping lips hydrated, preventing the “crusty butthole” lip effect. Lips need skincare too!
