May 14 I Miss Colorful Kaliedos Palettes

Kaliedos Flower Punk Palette Mini Review

Pulled out my Flower Punk palette from Kaliedos for my makeup this day. I’ve been wondering if Kaliedos will go back to doing colorful palettes like they had when they first started the brand. At least from what attracted me to this indie makeup brand in the first place was their multichrome highlighters and interesting colorful makeup palettes. It looks like they are discontinuing their Futurism palettes while the recent collections have been more monochromatic and neutral in comparison. I can understand having neutral palettes as they are what most people want to buy and is more wearable for everyday makeup looks. But I’m hoping for at least some color and more multichrome highlighters.

Even though this palette has the grungy browns for a moody style of makeup, you can still use it for clean and simple looks using the brighter pinks and greens. I decided on this bright orange shade of blush, Floret from Lethal Cosmetics, as my pop of color as my eye look was on the lighter pink side. This Maple Brown Juicy Lasting Tint from rom&nd was a limited collection collab they did with Line Friends. And this fresh floral scent from Skylar Rainforest Mist is from that month’s scent club subscription box.
