I Forgot About Kaja Beauty Bentos
When Kaja first become accessible as a Kbeauty brand at Sephora, I was super excited. This was before Olive Young had international shipping and Yes Style still takes a minimum 30 days for shipping. I basically bought every Eye Bento they released except for the only matte ones. And then I kind of just forgot about the brand. I was only interested in their eyeshadows in cute travel friendly stack containers with the great glitter formula popular among Kbeauty.
Kaja Eye Bentos Mini Review
Kaja recently released two new Eye Bentos for spring and I snagged both during the Sephora Spring sale. They aren’t necessarily the most creative or colorful palette stories, but they are great for doing simple everyday makeup. Especially if you are a beginner at applying eyeshadow, or someone like me who doesn’t want to spend too long doing elaborate eye makeup. It might even help people who suffer from choice fatigue, where you end up not knowing what colors to choose the more shades a palette has. Since there’s only three shades, the easiest method is to use the lighter shade as your base. Then the darkest shade as the deepening shade on the outer corner of your eye, and the glitter as an accent or all over your eyelid. It would also have been useful when I traveled to Hawaii earlier this year, rather than taking two or three other palettes.
For this makeup look I amped up the glitter on my eyes using the Peripera Duo Pocket Glitter Shadow in Salted Caramel. I used Colourpop Georgette for a bright apricot blush. And as usual a rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint in Peeling Angdoo. Juicy Lasting Tints are just one of my favorite lip products as someone with chronically dry lips. Another new favorite are the Merit sheer tinted lip oils which you’ll see in upcoming posts. For perfume I used Pinrose Lil’ Dipper, a mostly floral leaning fragrance. I also didn’t realize Sephora no longer carries Pinrose, as it was where I originally bought it from. It seems like they are going through a rebranding with soon to be released new packaging.
