Aug 23 How to Make an Elegant and Simple Purple Winged Eyeliner for Fall

This purple winged eyeliner look is an easy way to incorporate some color into your makeup without going overboard. It's slightly dramatic, but is softened with the addition of glitter from the multichrome eyeshadow. I have been missing fall weather through this southern California heat wave and decided to create this purple eyeliner inspired by autumn hues. I was also going out for sushi with my boyfriend, so it was a bit like a date night makeup look. Elegant and Simple Purple Winged Eyeliner Tutorial

Using about-face Matte Fluid Eye Paint in Dionysus, apply the liquid eyeshadow using a thin eyeliner brush to line your upper lash line. Continue lining until you reach the outer eyelid and create a wing shape. You can use a liquid or pencil purple eyeliner, or a purple eyeshadow to blend out the wing instead. If you have hooded eyes like I do, try looking in a mirror straight ahead as you apply. That way you can see how thick of a liner you need and keep adding eyeshadow until your eyeliner is visible when your eyes are fully open.
Tap Terra Moon Cosmetics Prism Skies all over the lid using a fingertip. Prism Skies has a blue, green, and silver shift which contrasts nicely with the violet shade of the eyeliner. That small amount of sparkle all over the eyelid tones down the otherwise bold wing. I also just can't resist adding some glitter or shimmer to an all-matte eye look.
Apply mascara on the upper and lower lashes.

Lip: Mac Powder Kiss Liquid Lipcolour in Got a Callback, Urban Decay Vice Lip Chemistry Lasting Glassy Tint in X-ray. Pairing a monochromatic purple lip, I used Got a Callback on the outside of my lips and used X-ray for the inner lips to create an ombre lip.
