Dasique Berry Smoothie Mini Review

Dasique is a Korean beauty brand that from what I’m seeing on social media, is recently becoming more popular. The palette I’m featuring today is the Berry Smoothie Shadow Palette from their strawberry spring collection. While the color story of this palette is on the conventional cool tone pink side, the layout is definitely unique. The palette is the same size as their other 9 pan palettes, but they have split the size of one pan into two. Thus allowing 18 shades to fit inside the same size of previous palettes. I will say that if you don’t have smaller brushes, you might have a harder time trying to get into the pan as they are on the small side for each shade.

This palette has cool tone pink and purple shades, perfect for creating an everyday makeup look with spring vibes. For this day I was out making a Costco run, of which I was very happy to buy four giant bags of Funyuns. Regarding the eye look, I picked a pink shimmer shade for the outer lid, and a beige glitter that I applied all over the lid. As you can see from past posts, I always add some form of glitter to my eyeshadow looks. This palette was part of my May 2023 makeup haul.

For blush I decided on the Hince True Dimension Glow Cheek in Mellow. This blush formula is a bit like a baked highlighter that can double as a glowing blush. I wanted to add a bit more color to my cheeks as my eye look was fairly subdued. And as seen from my last few posts, my current holy grail Merit Gelee Sheer Tinted Lip Oil. It’s basically what I use when I don’t feel like using other lip products with more pigment. On a Date by Replica is a newer perfume that pulls inspiration from a summer date on a vineyard. It is a warm floral with notes of grape and roses.
