Romantic Muted Rose Eyeshadow Look with Oden's Eye Jewels and Gems Palette
Today I’m showcasing this romantic muted rose eye makeup look using some new makeup I bought last month. I used the new Oden’s Eye Jewels & Gems palette and Hince True Dimension Layering Cheek for a pink neutral makeup look that has a bit of a dreamy vibe. The multi glitter shimmer shade in the palette really elevates this eye look, making it more dramatic and ethereal.
The Jewels & Gems palette is inspired by Jord, the Norse goddess of earth, and the tones and colors seen in gemstones and jewelry. I love the color stories in the palettes Oden’s Eye releases, as they are usually something different than the typical monochromatic or neutral palettes other brands do.
Oden’s Eye Muted Rose Hooded Eye Makeup Tutorial
For the eye look, I wanted the inner eye to be more neutral, so I used the light peach shimmer in the rom&nd mini palette Shiny Sally from their Line Friends collection. Then I used Elation, the muted pink shade, and smoked that on the outer eye. All over the lid, I applied Rhapsody, a multichrome with silver, gold, and light blue glitter in a brown base. I thought this would match well as the pink matte already has a cool brown tone to it.
Photos are hard to capture all the glitter in this eyeshadow look, but there is such a fairy like quality when using these multichrome shades in the palette. For blush I used Hince True Dimension Layer Cheek in Allure in the Air.
Hince True Dimension Layer Cheek Mini Review
As a mini review, this blush product features two shades, one with a balm texture, and one that is a powder. Allure in the Air has a neutral brown balm blush that I applied around my temple area. For the pink powder blush, I sweeped that along my cheekbones and a bit under my eye area, but not too far down my face. This neutral blush is such a beautiful color, and the powder sinks into the skin. I thought it might be too light to show up on my skin tone, but it actually worked out pretty well.
For lips I used rom&nd Glasting Melting Balm in Nougat Sand, continuing the theme of the neutral browns with pops of pink. You can find it on Amazon, link below. *I earn a commission for purchases made from the link below* I chose YSL Lavalliere as perfume since not only is the bottle elegant and romantic looking, the scent has a sweetness to it with hints of fig and rose. Also, if you were interested in colored contact lenses, I’m using Moody Lenses for this makeup look. Photos of the other Hince True Dimension Cheek Layers can be found in my May 2023 makeup haul post.
