How to Create a Smokey Purple Eye Makeup with Etude House LUVISTRUE Palette
Etude House LUVISTRUE Play Color Eyes is a cool toned lilac 9 pan palette. There are glitter, shimmer, and matte purple and neutral shades, so you can create everyday as well as more dramatic night time looks. I ended up with a more sultry eye than I expected while using this palette. Below are the steps I did to create this purple smokey eye with an all over glitter effect.

The cool tone brown shade in this palette can actually go quite dark. I meant to go with my usual everyday natural type makeup, but since I had already added a bit too much, I leaned into doing a more dramatic smokey eye instead. With the matte brown, I created a wing on the outer lid. Then I used the mauve shimmer over that brown, for some extra sheen. For the inner lid, I used the matte mid-tone purple to brighten that area. I then applied the lightest lilac glitter shade all over the inner lid. This glitter has flecks of silver, blue, and lilac and is a good contrast to the darker mauve on the outer lid.
I went with a brighter pink with a metallic sheen for the blush, as my eye look was on the darker side. This Colourpop Just Rosy Super Shock Blush is from the Snow White collection. For the lip I used rom&nd Glasting Melting Balm Kaya Fig, a rosy mid-tone mauve paired with Kara Beauty Level Up Nourishing Lip Gloss in NPC, a baby pink glitter gloss. For the makeup swatches, you can see that most of the palette swatches are not that dark. The darkest shade really adds the dark contour shade you need for a smokey eye. But I think if you do mostly everyday makeup looks, you can easily use the rest of the lighter shades to do that. The mid tone shimmer shades also has some purple glitter flecks.
