Simple Yet Stunning Smoky Eye Tutorial Using Bronze and Red Eyeshadow
For today's makeup look, I wanted to try out the new Colourpop Rock On palette. This eyeshadow palette emphasizes warm tones of terracotta, bronze, and neutrals. So your makeup looks with this palette will only be focused on those colors, but it has everything you need for a glamorous bronze smoky eye. I created this shimmery metallic eye look for a date night out at Grand Central Market in Los Angeles. I kept my overall makeup on the warm side, wearing a deep brown lip gloss to complete the look. Check out my step-by-step guide below on how to create this sultry bronze and red smoky eyeshadow makeup.

Using Rock My World, blend the warm neutral shade all over the eyelid. The shadow leans more orange, so it's a good base shade for the whole eye makeup.
Apply Chasing Sunset from the Rock On palette by using a slightly denser eyeshadow brush. Sweep this gold bronze shadow from the inner corner until around the middle eyelid. For those with hooded eyes, apply the shade just above the crease of the eye and blend out.
Using Summer Heat, line the upper lash line on the outer corner of the eyelid with a smudge brush before using a thinner eyeliner brush to create a wing. This shadow is a vivid red shimmer shade with a brown undertone. Try to create a seamless transition between the two colors by blending in between. This red smoky eye with its shimmer texture adds a touch of glam to the eye look. Optionally, you can apply Summer Heat along the lower lash line for a bolder look.
Apply mascara to the upper and lower eyelashes. That's it for this colorful twist on a classic eyeshadow look. If you feel the red is a bit overpowering, try pairing it with a more neutral brown or copper eyeshadow instead.
Complementary Makeup for Bronze and Red Eyeshadows
Blush: Chioture Double Color Blush shade 11. This powder blush is a muted purple for a more toned down look in contrast to the brightness of the eyeshadows. You can see all the swatches of the Chioture Double Color Blushes here.
Lip: Into You Coconut Lip Gloss In Brown. A nude lip would work just as well, but I wanted to try out this glossy deep brown lip gloss. I bought a few of these lip glosses in my recent haul, and did swatches of the Into You Coconut Lip Glosses.
Perfume: Skylar Desert Glam. A warm floral fragrance inspired by the desert landscape. Contains notes of red currant, pink jasmine, and velvet woods.
