Colourpop X Sailor Moon Moon Crystal Power So Dewy Face Gloss Swatch and Review

The Moon Crystal Power So Dewy Face Gloss is part of the new Sailor Moon collaboration with Colourpop. Moon Crystal Power is a duochrome gloss that is safe for use on the face and eyes. I normally would not buy the So Dewy Face Glosses as I don’t do any type of wet gloss on my eyes for my makeup looks. I think it looks pretty for photoshoots or fashion shows, but realistically, things are going to get stuck in it until it finally dries down.

I basically only bought this for the packaging, and will probably scoop out the gloss so I can reuse the pot for something else. Maybe as a travel-friendly pot I can add skincare into. The gloss itself has that glistening, duochrome shine, but when it dries down it loses a lot of that luminosity. After drying, it is not as sticky as I thought it would be, just a slight bit. I just don’t think a face gloss is really that practical unless you have very dry skin and can handle having it on your face for an hour or so until it dries.
