Etude has released a super cute limited edition Bearkku lip and eyeshadow palette collection, in collaboration with Kyuljerry. Bearkku is a fluffy brown bear character from Kyuljerry’s digital comics.

Etude Play It Bearkku is an everyday, 9 pan eyeshadow palette with soft brown and nude shades. There’s a good mix of cool and warm browns, with a glitter topper and metallic shimmer shade for texture. About half of the matte shades are a bit too light for my skin tone, but they are meant as brightening or base shades for eyeshadow looks.

This might be the most basic brown eyeshadow palette, but I’m betting it will be very popular as most makeup users do everyday makeup styles for work or school. I bought this palette not only because of the cute bear character on the packaging, but as a complementary palette when creating colorful eyeshadow looks. I find that when I choose a color eyeshadow as my focal point of a look, I still need a brown to balance out the color story. The pale nude shades would be good for pastel, watercolor type looks, while the darker browns are good for contouring or smoky eye looks.
