IT Cosmetics No-Tug Longwear Eyeshadow Stick Review and Swatches
I received the products for free from Influenster and IT Cosmetics in exchange for my honest review.
It seems like one of the trending makeup products this year are eyeshadow sticks in matte, shimmer, or metallic formulas. IT Cosmetics released their Superhero No-Tug Longwear Eyeshadow Stick, an easy to use shadow stick in matte or pearl finishes. I received two of their shadow sticks in Passionate Pearl and Silk Armour.

IT Cosmetics No-Tug Longwear Eyeshadow Stick Review
As you can see from the swatches, Passionate Pearl is a pearl ivory that can lean almost lilac in certain light. Silk Armour is a metallic rose gold that seems like a staple color of most other shadow stick brands. The sticks can be pushed up by twisting the bottom, although my Silk Armour one clicked every time I tried turning it. My other shadow stick did not have this problem. The shadow stick formula was nice and smooth, no scratchiness or tugging. They were easy to blend for both swatches and on the eyelid, although getting a full opaque color payoff might be hard depending on the oiliness of your eyelids. As with most shadow sticks I have used, there will be a loss of some color as you blend the edges of your eye makeup. It does seem long wearing though, as the shadow becomes harder to blend once it sets on the skin.
Glam Coral Wing Hooded Eye Makeup Tutorial Using IT Cosmetics
I decided to use Passionate Pearl for an eye makeup look as well as the MAC Lunar New Year Palette from 2022, and the All Nighter Palette from 3CE. I like the matte powder kiss eyeshadow formula from MAC, which is unusual for me as I usually do mostly glitter eye looks. As you can see, The All Nighter palette is an all glitter palette. Being a Korean brand, it has great glitter payoff without being too chunky. If you love glitter, especially in neutral shades, I would recommend Korean brands.
My eye makeup looks tend to be pretty beginner friendly. I’m really just too lazy to spend that much time on anything too complicated. I tend to use two or three eyeshadows and rely on glitter shades to add interest to the look. For this look I used Passionate Pearl on the inner eye, and the terracotta shade from the MAC palette to add a wing. The neutral glitter shade from the 3CE palette was used all over the lid.
